The unit monitors the indoor and outdoor temperatures from up to three remote locations and warns you when the temperature drops low enough for icy streets and sidewalks. The included remote installs up to 100 feet away to transmit accurate temperature data to the main console inside the home or office. Time and temperature readings are displayed in large LCD digits for easy reading at a glance from across the room. An integrated atomic clock receives radio signals from the US Atomic Clock and sets itself frequently to maintain perfect time, adjusting automatically for Daylight Savings Time where applicable.
